July 09, 2012
Eric McCormack is likable again in TNT's Perception, and that may be more half the battle for this new mystery series.
July 09, 2012
Perception overstuffs its early episodes with far too many overwrought plot points.

Follow at your own risk.
July 09, 2012
Perception is both clever and ridiculous -- but should do well for TNT because it's also familiar.
July 09, 2012
There are aspects of the series that are engaging but, as the voices in your own head soon tell you, there's a lot more of it that's wearisome.
July 09, 2012
Thanks largely to McCormack, but also to Cook and others, Perception is fun to watch.
July 09, 2012
Perception lacks the wit, sidebar repartee or enigmatic withholding that makes shows like Monk, The Mentalist or Castle pleasant, if undemanding, viewing.
July 09, 2012
McCormack brings a fiesty commitment to this relatively unsurprising Super-Smart Curmudgeon role.
July 09, 2012
McCormack is terrific in Perception, which pushes him far beyond his sitcom to play a character who is not entirely likable...His show, on the other hand, isn't so terrific.

Pay it no mind and you won't be missing all that much.
