Marisa Brown was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She began her acting career as a child there, studying at the Young Actor's Institute and working in productions at Stage One Children's Theatre and Kentucky Educational Television. She continued to work and study at the University of Kentucky before making the big move to Los Angeles. In LA, she studied with Howard Fine and Stuart Rogers while working on TV shows such as 'That 70's Show', 'Boston Public', 'Las Vegas', 'Dragnet', 'Maybe It's Me', 'Young and the Restless', and 'Bold and the Beautiful'. She also appeared in various commercials and short films, including 'Sydney' and 'Rooftop Kisses', where she co-starred with Allison Janney.
